GSM DIALLER

 

GSM diallers are ideal for when there is no land line present in your house.

When your alarm activates the GSM dialler via its sim card can either contact the monitoring station or send a text message.

A great feature of this unit is that you can also send a text to set and unset your alarm system from your mobile phone.

 

The advantages of this type of monitoring are:

• You do not require a telephone line for the alarm system
• You can control your alarm from a remote location

 

The disadvantages of this type of monitoring system:

• You will need to have good mobile phone coverage at home.
• You will have to either pay a monthly fee to a mobile network provider ( O2 meteor etc) for use of a sim card.
• You can use a pay as you go sim card but if you forget to top it up and the system needs to dial out.....well you know the rest!!
