In other news Ace Alarm Services tendered for a contract to supply and install a burglar alarm and CCTV system in the petrol station that is currently being renovated in Old Chapel in Bandon.
We are pleased to announce that we were successful in our bid to secure that contract and works have commenced on site with the first fix wiring complete and the second fix commencing shortly.
We are really excited about this project as it is the first petrol station forecourt in which we will be using I.P. cameras. All our other forecourts to date have used analoue cameras with large varifocal lenses to capture number plates and facial features. With I.P. cameras, you keep picture clarity when you zoom in on a shot where as with analogue cameras the picture loses quality when you zoom in making it hard to identify facial features and number plates etc.
The opening date for the petrol station is mid-December. Keep an eye on our facebook page for up to date photos of the project and screen shots from the I.P. cameras.
